Margaret Elizabeth Demaree a.k.a. "Sister" is Sweetie's eldest sibling. When the Podcast begins in 1941, Margaret is living in Cedar Rapids, Linn County, Iowa, and has two children - M.A. and Chris. The Boltons have a farm there.

Chester Demaree, M.D., Margaret's father, refers to her as "Lizzie."
William "Bill" Daniel Bolton is Sweetie's brother-in-law. He was born on November 18, 1910, in Brandon, Buchanan County, Iowa. As of 1940, Bill is working at the La Plant-Choate Manufacturing Co., Inc., which produced tractor-drawn dirt moving equipment.
