This lovely photograph of 936 Springfield Rd. is likely the earliest photo of the house that survives. At some point, the family had this photograph made into a postcard (this was done in the early 1900's).

This photograph is earlier than the others because the trees surrounding the property have not started to obscure part of the view of the front of the house.
