Sweetie's Wedding
The photos in this album feature Sweetie's Wedding in Ottumwa on December 3, 1943, which was held in the living room of the home of Nelson and Eleanor Cory. This home was near the intersection of W. 4th St. and N. Holt St. in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Sweetie's Wedding Announcement to Lew's Parents
Amazingly, Sweetie managed to get back into her possession her original wedding announcement that she'd sent to Lew's parents, Samuel Graham and Sydney Bonsall Graham (nee Lewis).
The exterior envelope is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Graham, 936 Springfield Rd, Collingdale, Penna. and is postmarked December 9, 1943 from Ottumwa, Iowa.
The interior envelope of the announcement states "Mom and Pop and Dit." Dit is the nickname of Lew's sister, Elizabeth.
The announcement itself reads: "Dr. and Mrs. Chester Demaree announce the marriage of their daughter Kathryn Frances to Lewis Sidney Graham, United States Navy, on Friday, the third of December nineteen hundred and forty-three, Ottumwa, Iowa. At Home, 120 North Holt, Ottumwa, Iowa."

Sweetie on her Honeymoon
This photo was taken by Lew of Sweetie standing in front of Niagara Falls on the Canadian side of the water.
Sweetie was very pleased with her new dress that she was wearing in this photo. She later revealed in her letter that this dress was a gift to her from her mother, Laura.
