363 N. Main St.
This is a picture of the house at 363 N. Main St. in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.
This picture was taken during the winter of 1951-1952, while all sides of the house was still covered with black tar (the house had been covered with this decades earlier, earning the nickname the "Black House" or the "Witch House" of Doylestown).
The house was three stories tall, and had thirteen rooms inside. There were various small buildings in the back of the property.
The house immediately faces out onto the N. Main St. in Doylestown, just north of St. Paul's Lutheran Church today.

Side View of the House
This picture was taken long before Sweetie and her family arrived at 363 N. Main St. in summer 1951. This picture is likely from about 1910.
Miss Darst held a deed to the house dated 1835 (which she eventually gave to Sweetie and her family). However, the house is older than that deed - it is likely the last of the additions was added by that time. As such, the house was standing prior to the incorporation of Doylestown in 1838.
Note to the right of the photo, the additional building behind the house.

Buildings on the Property
This picture was taken in the winter of 1951-1952 of the rear of the property behind the house.
These are additional structures that were on the property in the backyard.

Lew Working Outside
This is a photo of Lew (Sweetie's husband) fixing a chair outside the house.
The side of the house can be see in the background, as well as a glimpse of the property across the street on N. Main Street.
